The Belle Vue Aces launched themselves into the 2017 Knock Out Cup Grand Final following a dramatic last-heat decider against Swindon in which they pulled back a hefty 11-point deficit.

The Carpets 4 Less Robins were the favourites going into the evening after such a convincing performance in the first leg, and even without top gun Jason Doyle they started off strongly.

An 11-point deficit is “more than recoverable” asserts team boss Mark Lemon as Belle Vue prepare to face fellow title contenders Swindon in Leg 2 of their Knock Out Cup semi-final in Manchester.

A challenging first round pit a heavily depleted Rentruck Aces against a near-full strength Robins at the Abbey Stadium last Thursday where they went down 50-39 after losing two of their riders.

Elemental Onslaught Claims Semi-Final

It’s not often these days that the weather wins out in Manchester, but Belle Vue will have to wait until next Wednesday, September 27, to face reigning champions Wolverhampton on home turf.

The first leg of their play off semi-final was due to take place at the National Speedway Stadium on Monday before heavy rain washed out the track and threatened to cause chaos with visibility.

Access to our track shop is through the outside door next to the ticket office windows.

If you wish to visit the shop, please do so before you enter the stadium.

This will be the arrangement at all meetings, we have made this change to make it easier for fans in the South Stand to access the shop.
